Recruiters at Databricks build strategies to source, assess and hire outstanding technical talent, they serve as key consultants and partners to Leaders across the Engineering organization and deliver incredible hires for Databricks.

The Impact you’ll have:

  • As a member of the Engineering Recruiting Team you will be leading full lifecycle searches for our highest priority positions in the Technology organization.
  • You will partner with and provide consultation  to Engineering Leadership, hiring managers and stakeholders to build outstanding teams that embody Databricks’ values and culture. Operating with self agency and autonomy you will be accountable for hiring operations and delivery to Leaders. 
  • You will conceive and lead programs and initiatives that address hiring challenges, build and improve our processes and operations, and develop opportunities for the region. 
  • You will use data to measure the health, effectiveness and efficiency of Recruiting operations to identify and deliver on strategies that continually raise the bar of what is possible for Recruiting at Databricks.

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of experience Recruiting for Software Engineering at multiple levels
  • 3+ years experience at an in-house Recruiting team
  • Extensive experience partnering with Engineering leadership teams to deliver key metrics, current recruiting programs, and future recruiting initiatives planning. 
  • Experience in sourcing, full life cycle recruiting, as well as partnering with the sourcing team to help close candidates generated via various other sources/pipes. 
  • Extensive experience developing and navigating Recruiting processes and workflows to hire outstanding talent in an unstructured and fast paced environment.
  • Must have experience in working with various teams (facilities, branding, etc) to hold local recruiting events or Tech Talks to help recruit and build Databricks brand in the local Engineering Community. 
  • Experience leading formal projects is preferred
