We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. About the role

We are a rapidly scaling, late-stage startup delivering advanced software platforms and AI-powered toolchains for the development, testing, validation, and deployment of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and autonomous vehicle systems. You’ll play a critical role in supporting revenue recognition and customer invoicing. You will aggregate, analyze and reconcile data to validate completeness and accuracy of our revenue recognition, perform collections analysis, and collaborate closely with sales and legal to ensure invoicing compliance and to gather support for revenue recognition. This is a hands-on, data driven role requiring strong NetSuite and Excel skills, experience with ASC 606, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for building and automating scalable processes in a fast-paced environment.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities within the Accounting organization
  • Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Collaborate with sales and legal to ensure invoicing compliance and to gather support for revenue recognition
  • Proactively reach out to customers to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding balances
  • Support external audits, including preparing work papers and responding to auditor requests
  • Handle all aspects of customer invoicing, including preparation, delivery, and record-keeping
  • Support the revenue recognition process by preparing schedules, analyses, and documentation in accordance with ASC 606
  • Identify and implement process improvements to shorten the close timeline and enhance reporting accuracy
  • Contribute to IPO readiness activities, including process documentation and SOX compliance for revenue processes
  • Assist with ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and software/technology company roles
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel is required
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606
  • Strong analytical and data aggregation skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
