THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a Services Advisory Lead to support the EMEA region, work with Account Executives to support strategic accounts and sales pursuits and execute the business.
We are seeking a candidate who will excel as a trusted advisor, demonstrating a unique blend of credibility, reliability, and intimacy, while maintaining a low self-orientation to build strong, trust-based relationships with our clients, partners and stakeholders.
This is a critical role within Ivalua. The Services Advisory Lead serves as a trusted advisor to prospective customers, conveys the value proposition of implementation, helps define the implementation strategy and post-implementation service offerings.
As a key individual contributor, the Services Advisory Lead will work collaboratively with the Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Professional Services, the Alliance team, and the partner ecosystem to support strategic sales pursuits.
This role will directly contribute to build the next generation of service offerings, specifically driving a shift from technology implementation to value driven programs and providing strong templates/tools to give more autonomy to Sales teams.
The Services Advisory Lead will be located in Massy/Paris, France and report to the Global Head of Services Advisory in North America.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
- As a Services Advisory Lead for EMEA, work closely with AEs and Partners to support strategic sales pursuits and lead service implementation approach for prospective customers based on strategic criteria.
- Develop and maintain periodically plan and forecast for opportunities supported.
- Support full sales cycle, including RFP, POV, Scoping, Proposal, Contracting (SOW, Sub-SOW), Negotiation and execution of services SOW (with a partner or directly with clients).
- Support Account Executives and Solution Consultants for all service-related questions
- Own the contracting process for the statement of work and work collaboratively with the Alliance and Professional Services team for subcontracts.
- Track at any time the status of each opportunity and ensure timely execution.
- Strategy and Infrastructure
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the services delivery model.
- Develop materials to pitch, scope, quote, contract, and close delivery services opportunities.
- Determine methodologies and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the
- Get input from Professional Services and other key stakeholders to increase templatization of services quotes system, SOWs and Value based implementation plans.
- Evangelize Services Sales strategy by engaging cross-functional teams including Sales, Services, Customer Success, Business Ops and Product Marketing/Management
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
Skills and Experience:
- Strong Functional knowledge -Source-to-Pay, including Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Life Cycle Management, and Procurement combined with excellent account management skills.
- Credibility - Ability to demonstrate expertise and knowledge in the field, ensuring clients trust the accuracy and relevancy of the advice given.
- Effective Listening - Demonstrating active and empathetic listening to understand clients’ needs and concerns fully.
- Problem-Solving - Proficiency in identifying, framing, and solving client problems creatively and effectively.
- Communication Skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Advisory Skills - Experience in providing guidance and recommendations that align with Clients’ goals and situations.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud software service sales organization or in a consultancy firm plus 2-3 years of experience in services sales, including the ability to scope customer implementation programs aligned with a partner delivery model.
- Manage prospect relationships, self-driven with an entrepreneurial approach, results oriented, strong leadership and exceptional communication skills.
- Very strong organization skills
- Travel required (up to +60%)
