Senior Site Merchandising Manager
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Site Merchandising Manager to join our team, based in Boston/Plantation/Seattle. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape Chewy’s shopping experience and ensure that we deliver to our customer’s high expectations. This role has end-to-end ownership of site merchandising strategies designed to rapidly grow the Chewy private brands business. The role partners closely with key stakeholders and senior leaders from category management, ops, marketing, creative services, and product/engineering teams to build best-in-class shopping experiences for new and existing Chewy customers. This individual must be highly motivated, results focused, organized, and detail oriented, and must possess solid objectivity, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. You'll get to work side by side with smart and passionate business, tech, and operations professionals. You will be involved in many aspects of building private brands businesses, and you will be given the freedom and flexibility to move quickly. What You’ll Do:
- Own site merchandising strategies for Chewy private brands, including go-to-market launch plans as well as ongoing taxonomy and content plans to sustain the growth of new and best-selling products
- Identify site merchandising dependencies and implement mechanisms with partner teams to ensure flawless onsite experiences
- Create and maintain mechanisms to keep cross-functional partners and leadership informed, as well as to surface key debates with relevant stakeholders
- Own inputs into partner team roadmaps to develop required features and reporting that can scale to the rest of the site merchandising team. Identify go-big opportunities and advocate for internal and external resources where needed to surprise & delight customers
What You’ll Need:
- College degree in business-related field
- 7+ years work experience, with 2+ years in ecommerce
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
- Ability to think ahead and set plans in motion for future growth needs
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
Bonus (if applicable):
- Familiarity with SQL and advanced Excel capabilities
