Location:Hybrid / London, England (open to candidates who are fully remote in UK but there is the need to be in London when the client requests)

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Snr Social Designer will be the key driver for creative excellence for all social design briefs and as such is responsible for delivering the brand expression via the expected social channels and working with the client's social team to develop how we would express the new brand into all social channels. The one goal in mind: ‘to be the leading agency partner for the development of stunning and effective social content. This role will be underpinned by passion, ambition and an open mind to what is requested of us by the client. 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting into the Creative Director and Global Director, Social Media within the client's office the Snr Social Designer will be a pivotal role within the client's ecosystem and will be responsible for being a social expert in their approach and in all they create. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Create and develop content to brief and exacting standards from the outset until completion 
  • To be instrumental in developing the new social media brand expression within the client's office  
  • Positively influencing with creative input in addition to undertaking and pitching new creative concepts  
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the brief objectives and formulate plan of action to achieve them, by creating inspiring and exciting content 
  • Be an entrepreneurial lead on the development of creative and output  
  • Work in collaboration with the Global Director, Social Media and wider team to deliver best-in-class performance campaigns 
  • Be a brand guardian for the client, ensuring the guidelines and tone of voice are respected across all assets being created 
  • Create social media assets, video’s, GIF’s, MEMEs, and different event and campaign collateral 
  • Look for innovative ways to develop new creative within the guidelines, marketing and production opportunities.
  • Keenly evaluate and monitor industry trends and brands, research industry developments in branding and marketing to be at the forefront of creative excellence
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and the client’s marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant and positive impact
  • Keeping up to date with current digital and creative trends. 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Strong conceptual skills and an understanding of class leading social campaigns and why they work 
  • Passionate about social media and understand the latest innovations across platforms. 
  • Love working in a fast-paced adaptable environment. 
  • Able to work both independently, and collaboratively within a team. 
  • Excellent team engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence people and build strong and effective working relationships 
  • An innate creative flair, strong art direction and concepting skills – full of ideas across social platforms  
  • Desire to learn and offer new skills and do this without being prompted. 
  • A true grounding in social media implementation and creative. 
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Motion and video skills using After Effects & Premiere) 
  • Strong typography, layout and technical skills with excellent attention to detail 
  • An understanding how to work across, social media posts and storytelling 
  • An understanding of latest Social and Digital technology trends
  • The ability to talk through your ideas confidently with the team and Global Director, Social Media and wider team
  • Strong and relevant experience in: Conceptual skills, Social Media, Digital
