Working in the tech team at Doctolib involves building innovative products and features to improve the daily lives of care teams and patients. We work in feature teams in an agile environment, while collaborating with engineering, design, and business teams.
What you’ll doWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Patient Health Platform and help us become the #1 digital and secure medical companion for patients.
More specifically, you’ll join the team working on developing patient services to help patients and practitioners to leverage technologies to improve the quality of communications and continuity of care, working on features like teleconsultation, messaging, and notifications to patients. Providing the best in class user experience, quality, and security of the features.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality application that meets the needs of patients seeking healthcare services through the Doctolib platform in France, Germany, and Italy.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define and implement features to improve healthcare access for patients,
- Take a leading role within the team and contribute to establishing a technical vision that ensures the performance, security, and usability of the application, taking into account the future needs and the high scalability needs.
- Bring your expertise and experiences to help us continuously improve the way we design, implement, test, and monitor high-quality features
- Improving the performance of key features implemented in React (TypeScript/JavaScript) and Ruby on Rails, sometimes completely challenging the status quo
- Taking leadership on delivering roadmap items (together with the team)
- Contributing to establishing a technical vision and co-drive the creation of the roadmap for next quarters

- You are proactive, curious, and collaborative and eager to learn
- You are a full stack developer with a good knowledge of JavaScript/Typescript and Ruby on Rails (or similar frameworks). You have a good understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle
- You have a “user first” mindset and want to build a product focused on bringing value to its users, through secure, well-tested and pragmatic code.
- You are fluent in English
