Senior Software Engineer | RVPR
At RVPR, we build transformative digital experiences that help people make life's most important decisions—like buying or renting a home. We're seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll develop scalable end-to-end services, maintain and improve our applications (finditpr.com, plateapr.com, and ampliamls.com), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technological innovation.
finditpr.com - is a fast-growing online real estate marketplace for residential and commercial properties in Puerto Rico.
ampliamls.com - is the first MLS (Multiple Listing Service) built for Puerto Rico by Puerto Ricans—no realtor membership required. This platform enables licensed real estate agents to distribute their listings to marketplaces like finditpr.com, zillow.com, realtor.com, and more—all from a single platform. Unlike other MLS platforms that require a Realtor membership, our platform is accessible to all licensed agents.
plateapr.com - Platea Media is a dynamic digital publication dedicated to providing news and information about events, food, music, culture, issues, and ideas that move Puerto Rico forward
What You’ll Do:
- Build scalable, integrated end-to-end services using NestJS, Next.js, Angular v18+, TypeScript Lambdas, Elasticsearch, Prisma, TypeORM, and Better-Auth
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers using Figma to develop intuitive applications with libraries and frameworks such as Next.js, Angular v18+, shadcn/ui, Tailwind CSS, Motion, and vanilla CSS
- Provision and/or migrate applications to infrastructure as a code using AWS CDK
- Develop DevOps workflows and pipelines using Github actions or equivalent
- Use AI tools and APIs to develop software, including Devin, Claude Code, Cursor, and MCPs such as Figma MCP and AWS Docs MCP
- Scope and implement technology solutions independently and with minimal guidance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design and content teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience with full stack experience and development.
- Experience with or familiarity with:
- AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, etc.
- Frontend libraries/frameworks: Next.js, Angular v18+, Tailwind CSS, shadcn, etc.
- Backend libraries/frameworks: NestJS, Express.js, Prisma, TypeORM, or equivalent

- Observability tools such as Sentry or equivalent
- Testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, etc.

- Prioritize and Execute
- With new tools and technologies emerging daily, we stay focused on what moves the needle forward. We Prioritize strategically and Execute with excellence.
- Clients come first, software second. The most optimized code has limited value if it doesn't solve real problems or help our users.
- Attention to detail and Product Experience
- To create flawless product experiences, we must anticipate user needs and pay close attention to details. Small oversights in how features are built can lead to poor user experiences.
- Pragmatic attitude
- We’re searching for people that focuses on practical, realistic solutions rather than theory
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Software bridges the gap between problems and solutions, requiring clear communication across teams to build strong domain knowledge and deliver effective client solutions.
- Ideal team players: hungry, humble, and smart! We value those who are curious and strive to be great people to work with.
- Demonstrated "can do" attitude with a willingness to tackle and solve complex problems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Why Join Us: At FWD, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on Puerto Rico. We offer a collaborative work environment, professional growth opportunities, and a chance to be at the forefront of software innovation.
