As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend), you'll spearhead the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operation of microservices for our SCM platform. Partner with the product owner to craft the product roadmap and drive your team to deliver outstanding products. Set and uphold top engineering standards in quality, reliability, scalability, and customer focus. Based in Sydney's SCM hub, you'll be a key player in our global engineering tribe.

• Lead the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices for our SCM platform.
• Collaborate with the product owner to define the product delivery roadmap.
• Uphold high standards in engineering practices across all domains (quality, reliability, scalability, customer focus, etc.).
• Help your team build excellent products and mentor them in best practices.
• Be a part of the global SCM engineering tribe, based in the Sydney SCM engineering hub.
• Ensure timely delivery of your team's objectives, using agile methodologies and continuous improvement techniques.

• Take charge of microservice architecture, design, and development, contributing actively to the codebase.
• Coach and mentor team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Develop scalable features for a global audience from day one.
• Maintain high engineering standards in quality, reliability, scalability, and customer focus.
• Ensure timely achievement of your team’s goals using agile and DevOps practices.
• Work with Squad leads and Staff Engineers to continuously improve our systems and processes.
