As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for design, develop and build of functional product and application features of Syncron products, based on customer requirements. You will design, application solutions, write clean and efficient code, collaborate with members within and across teams, carry out efficient application releases.

• Design, build, and maintain reusable, efficient robust and testable code with a focus on automated testing
• Collaborate with technical and business team members to understand requirements and develop solutions using an agile process, with ownership of stories and tasks
• Collaborate with test engineers to define and write automated, manual tests to deliver a fully tested, high-quality code
• Understand customer requirements and business processes to provide solutions that adhere to Syncron standard practices
• Work in an environment that supports your individual and organizational growth

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5 – 8 years of experience in the development of enterprise-wide applications using Java and its ecosystems

• Hands on experience in Java technologies with proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Transactions, Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs
• Excellent command of Java, with ability to write clean, loosely coupled code with tests
• Working knowledge of RDBMS - PostgreSQL, MySQL, familiarity with SQL (joins, aggregation, sorting, date comparison, etc.), analysing and optimizing query execution plan
• understanding of OOP with design patterns, loosely coupled, integrations based applications
• Understanding and working knowledge of DevOps practices – CI/CD and automated build tools
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, with experience working in a cross-functional, agile teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a highly multi-tasked environment

• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, EC2, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, lambda)
• Experience and/or understanding of front-end technologies and frameworks – JavaScript, jQuery, Angular
• Non-relational (or NOSQL) database technologies – key/value & graph, search engine.
• Experience working across SaaS customer implementation projects
