Our offsite Retail Media Network is a new addition to our Supplier Advertising Experience suite. This addition allows suppliers to promote their products directly on the offsite Retail Media Network, providing customers with an enhanced shopping experience. With RMN, suppliers have increased visibility and control over their offsite advertising campaigns through a dedicated platform to manage sponsored offerings, performance and budgets.
Successful candidates will have to solve complex and broad business problems with simple and straightforward solutions, applying appropriate technologies and software engineering best practices, building solutions that are scaled and performed. You will also have a focus on the customer experience, great teamwork and communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner with your business stakeholders to provide them with transparency, data, and resources to make informed decisions
- Be a technical leader within and across the teams you work with.
- Drive high impact architectural decisions and hands-on development, including inception, design, execution, and delivery following good design and coding practices.
- Obsessively focus on production readiness for the team including testing, monitoring, deployment, documentation and proactive troubleshooting.
- Identify risks and gaps in technical approaches and propose solutions to meet team and project goals.
- Create proposals and action plans to garner support across the organization.
- Influence and contribute to the team’s strategy and roadmap.
- Tenacity for learning - curious, and constantly pushing the boundary of what is possible.
What You'll Need:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in designing and building scalable platforms.
- Hands-on contribution to the codebase is a MUST.
- Extensive knowledge of backend technologies, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
- Experience in full-stack development will be preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce advertising, including ad targeting, campaign management, performance tracking, and integration with advertising platforms.
- Expertise in microservices architecture for highly available, large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Ability to define a future state vision, lead large-scale architectural solutions, and guide step-by-step execution.
- Collaborate with Product Managers (PM) and Experience Designers (XD) to balance cost-effectiveness with business value and prioritize engineering solutions accordingly.
- Define internal priorities during project execution based on engineering aspects and solution designs.
- Mentor and coach engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish best practices to drive engineering excellence.
- Foster adoption of new technologies, platforms, and architectural solutions across the team.
- Passion for leading cross-functional projects, driving collaboration, and influencing design decisions to enhance customer experience and scalability.
