As a Senior Integration Engineer - Cloud SOAR, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of integrations between Sumo Logic Cloud SOAR and various external systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless data flow and process automation, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our Cloud SOAR solution. You will be responsible for building/iterating on integration framework(s) that enable the team to develop integrations with high efficiency. 

Who You Are:

You are a strong integration engineer who has a tinkerer mindset. You care about producing clean, elegant, maintainable, robust, well-tested code; you do this as a member of a team, helping the group come up with a better solution than you would as individuals. You should have experience with building integrations with other external systems - both security and observability ones. You should have:

• Experience in API integrations using python.
• Experience in bash scripting. 
• Competency with modern CI/CD tooling like Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible & Jenkins.
• A desire to see features through from development to deployment in production environments
• You believe in small and frequent product releases and deployments.
• Experience in an on-call rotation and the mindset that you and your team are responsible for the product support for the products you build and deploy.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design and develop integration frameworks that enable the team to develop integrations with external systems efficiently. 
• Design and develop integrations between Sumo Logic Cloud SOAR and external systems using APIs, web services, and other integration tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Configure and customize Cloud SOAR Integration framework(s) to meet integration requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to integrations, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Perform system testing and validation to ensure integrations are functioning as expected.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders on integration-related matters.
• Stay current with Integration best practices to ensure optimal integration performance.
• Ensure all integrations comply with security policies and government regulations.
• Work across teams at Sumo Logic to identify requirements and architect solutions to meet their Cloud SOAR integration needs.

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech or higher in Computer Sciences or related discipline
• 4+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of ownership and delivery
• Proven experience with APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and other integration tools.
• Experience with one of the major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with python is a must. 
• Experience with Bash scripting. Powershell experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of authentication and security protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and JWT.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
