Responsibility

The current needs of China can be broadly split into two categories:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 7 years as a Solution Architect or in a similar role demonstrating understanding of systems design, operation in scale and software maintenance and reliability
• Proven integration experience (API, Swagger, OAuth, Postman,…)
• Strong communication skills to engage Senior contacts at R&D departments from banks / PSPs / supply chain partners / WeChat / CRM platforms / Accounting / ERP- to help lead / manage integrations- enable / support partners with API testing / troubleshooting / others
• Must be able to vet providers
• Must be able to lead / manage / review suggested technical solutions proposed by 3rd party vendors or outsource development
• Must have experience managing relationships with development companies
• Must possess strong written and verbal English skills to be able to work jointly with core R&D worldwide
• Strong knowledge of the local Chinese ecosystems (technical, business and regulation)
• Must be able to articulate to Product management what the local requirements are and how they affect existing Payoneer flows and look and feel
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and modern software development practices.

Not a must but a great advantage  

• Industry experience – cross border fintech
• Experience with “end to end flows” from onboarding to backend regulatory reporting
• Cross border ecommerce industry experience
• FX engine / smart routing experience
