We are looking for a Senior Space Planner (m/f/d) to support our Order Management team in Munich. In this newly created key position, you will not only be responsible for designs but also actively shape the future of our space planning strategy.   • Central Hub: You define different types of space plans and standardize design elements (CI/CD) as well as the software used
  • Knowledge Hub: You act as a central stakeholder for external partners (planning offices, software vendors, distributors) and empower internal teams to create their own plans
  • Standardization & Archiving: You build an “evergreen repository” for drawings and models and conduct an audit of existing machine models
  • Process Optimization & Innovation: You explore the use of AI solutions (e.g., CGI, 2D-to-3D converters) to take the efficiency of our planning processes to the next level
  • Operational Excellence: You create high-quality space plans yourself when needed and evaluate external requests (e.g., from distributors or public tenders)
  • Sales Support & Business Impact: You are responsible for using space plans to support commercial initiatives and make informed prioritization decisions in coordination with relevant stakeholders. Your concepts significantly contribute to the success of sales pitches, bids, and global key account projects

Your fitness level

  • Background: You are an experienced (5+ years) interior designer with a strong profile in space planning 
  • Technical Know-how: You have extensive experience with planning software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, ECDesign) and a strong technical understanding of machine drawings
  • Strategic Perspective: You have the ability to evaluate complex systems, standardize processes, and strategically develop a team
  • Project Management: You possess strong project management skills and have experience managing complex, high-volume projects (e.g., international rollouts, pilot projects)
  • International Experience: You have ideally already worked with international teams and markets, enabling you to manage different market requirements with confidence
  • Communication: You are strong in stakeholder management and fluent in English, German as a strong plus

Your training goal for your first 6 months

  • Audit: You conduct and document a comprehensive assessment of existing systems, personnel, and external requirements
  • Structuring: You take inventory of all current and future machine models
  • Standardization: You develop and implement a uniform standard for our planning output
