Job description. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SQL Analyst to join our dynamic team in Colombia. The ideal candidate will be an expert in SQL with a deep understanding of Google BigQuery, GA4 Schema, and Data/Looker Studio. This role involves leveraging these tools to analyze complex datasets, uncover insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient SQL queries and scripts.
  • Extract and analyze large datasets using Google BigQuery.
  • Create and manage complex data pipelines and architectures.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver comprehensive reports and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in Data/Looker Studio.
  • Lead data modeling and warehousing efforts, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in SQL, Google BigQuery, GA4 Schema, and Data/Looker Studio.
  • Maintain quality standards across teams using version control via Github
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs and contribute to strategic projects.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Work both collaboratively and independently to ensure project work and deliverables are met and on time.

What we’d like to see.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SQL analysis, with extensive experience in Google BigQuery.
  • In-depth knowledge of GA4 Schema and its application in data analysis.
  • Proficient in using Data/Looker Studio for data visualization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • History using version control systems such as Github.
  • Experience in cloud platforms like GCP.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R.
