Senior Strategist

The Senior Strategist will act as the day-to-day lead for one or more projects in the agency, working with clients from different industries and in various scope depths and asks. They will guide research and distill insights to find and frame opportunities to drive business value and build brand equity through brand, creative, and comms strategy. They will be curious and open-minded to succeed in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities:
- To develop an in-depth understanding of culture, brands, businesses, and their customers through primary and secondary research.
- To develop and synthesizing research to inform and inspire the development of different types of projects for brands - ranging from positioning to creative campaigns.
- To develop creative briefs drawing on data-driven insights and cultural inspiration.
- To foster strong, collaborative relationships with team members from creative, client services, PR, and production teams.
- To support new business initiatives and the continued development of the strategy team.
- To develop smart and impactful presentation decks.
- To conduct presentations, workshops and work sessions both internally and externally.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of related experience
- Advanced to fluent English
- Proven critical thinker and problem solver above all else
- Prior experience with creative strategy in highly creative and dynamic agencies
- A record of successfully developing strategies that have demonstrated/driven value for clients’ businesses
- Ability to generate rich and actionable insights from multiple sources of data
- Basic to advanced knowledge in qual/quant research methodologies
- A strong understanding of brand strategy
- Experience with communications/campaign planning across paid, earned, and owned channels is a plus but not required
- Spanish is a plus but not required
