Senior Strategist (Auckland)

As a Senior Experience Strategist, you are responsible for developing and maintaining strategies on key agency accounts to the highest standard. Your role involves exercising intellectual curiosity and championing customer-centric processes and techniques and growth approaches. You’ll build relationships with clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary project teams to create innovative services and solutions.
This is a senior position where you can work relatively autonomously but collaboratively across disciplines, while consulting with leaders to validate your thinking. You will also increasingly take a lead in the identification and conversion of new opportunities for AKQA.

This is pivotal role that requires you to:
- Deliver high-quality strategies, services and solutions using human-centered design, digital, data, tech and growth tactics.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines (Design, Data, Engineering); and leverage data, tech, and AI to enhance strategic outcomes.
- Champion customer-centric and growth approaches.
- Inspire innovation and empower team members.

We’re looking for someone who has:
- Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of clients’ businesses and their objectives.
- Seasoned strategy capabilities, particularly with large-scale/complex projects with at least 5 years of experience in an intermediate role; or more than a year as a senior.
- Knowledge of growth strategies and how to create them to drive impact
- Strong technical knowledge of digital, data and technology including AI
- Experience in multi-channel CX strategies and research methodologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Solution-focused attitude with dedication to achieving optimal outcomes
- The ability to work autonomously but with high levels of collaboration and transparency, managing time and deadlines seamlessly.
