The Global Returns & Incidents Team plays a vital role in the supply chain and fulfilling our commitment to customers. We collaborate with various teams at Wayfair, who depend on us to maintain a top-notch operation. This role is crucial in managing these varying priorities, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring everyone has clear direction to work efficiently and effectively.
Your Role:
The ideal candidate for this role will be part of the Global Returns and Incident Team as part of the warehousing domain of Wayfair. They should be curious, driven, impact-oriented, and able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. The candidate should have strong networking skills, a good understanding of process functions and quality compliance, and be able to provide actionable insights and recommendations to operational teams. This position offers a chance to travel globally partnering with leaders to identify key process and compliance opportunities within the team's core functions throughout Wayfair's Global Supply Chain network.
What You’ll Do:
- Measure operational processes and business solutions necessary for achieving business growth within our global returns and incidents business model, including success tracking and continuous improvement through structured quality and compliance auditing.
- Lead site standard excellence audits across various process paths and job functions to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, develop actions for enhancing success tracking and measurement, and share with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Work closely with Operations to review core processes and job functions, identifying gaps or areas needing improvement while maintaining quality and compliance records.
- Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, to ensure a common understanding for multiple teams to work towards a shared vision.
- Spend time with teams, particularly front-line teams, to gain a hands-on understanding of current processes and improvement opportunities.
- Develop stakeholder communication plans to foster collaboration and enhance processes.

What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Retail
- Degree in business studies or related field, additional qualifications preferred
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills; knowledge of German is a bonus
- Problem-solving skills with familiarity with job-aides and instructions
- Proven ability to tackle challenges and navigate obstacles
- Strong organizational skills and ability to simplify complex situations
- Collaborative mindset with experience in stakeholder management
- Proficient in process mapping and compliance measurement
- Self-driven and able to quickly adapt to new environments
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
- A willingness to travel at least 50% both within and outside of the US (Canada, UK and Germany)
Salary: The salary range for this position is $69,500 - $76,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
