Pinterest brings millions of people the inspiration to create a life they love. We are looking for an enthusiastic and diligent Senior Tax Analyst to join our growing Tax team. You’ll report to our Tax Director in Dublin and be responsible for overseeing and managing tax issues in the international region and providing critical support to the leadership of our global tax team.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with tax team members and external advisers to manage US federal and state income tax compliance.
  • Partner with external advisors to manage indirect tax filings for the North America region.
  • Perform quarterly and annual procedures in connection with ASC 740 reporting, disclosures and SOX compliance.
  • Support data gathering and preparation of responses for US federal and state income tax audits and indirect tax audits.
  • Assist on cross-functional projects, accurately capturing advice, interpreting its impact to Pinterest, and disseminating in a concise and understandable manner to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor the tax landscape internationally and assist in determining the impact to Pinterest.
  • Build, maintain, improve, and automate tax-related processes.
  • Prioritize workflow to ensure timely delivery of work products.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or equivalent experience or 2-5 years of relevant tax experience with Big 4 public accounting preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and take responsibility for deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.
  • Collaborative work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented culture.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus.

Final salary is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant prior experience, or particular skills and expertise.
