This person will partner with our engineering teams to deliver solutions to improve the security posture of Airbnb. This role requires an understanding of bot behavior, data security, and traffic management. It also involves working closely with various teams to ensure the security of Airbnb's data and services. A Typical Day:

• Develop a portfolio view of Anti-Bots programs including but not limited to detecting, researching and disrupting attackers by investigating entities and analyzing data to uncover bot patterns.
• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects of all sizes aimed at providing quick actionable insights and working with our engineering teams to constantly implement solutions at scale through better automation.
• Ensure leaders have sufficient visibility into execution status, issues, and decisions.
• Work with engineering to build a ML model to accurately detect the scraping traffic and implement anti-bot techniques in the Airbnb tech stack. 

Your Expertise:

• Experience and passion for building anti-scraping, anti-bot platforms and models to proactively detect automated bots against our platform.
• Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions. You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line.
• Bias for action and enjoys finding patterns amid chaos and quickly addressing vulnerabilities being exploited by bots.
• Self-motivated and proactive to identify trends in automated attacks and opportunities to address them.
• Sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a track record of taking ownership, leading data driven analyses, and influencing results
• Experience developing new and improving existing processes, and demonstrated flexibility to get things done.
• Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using your technical expertise and problem solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues.
• Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication with multiple groups is imperative.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and learn new technologies with minimal lag time.
• Excellent written and oral business communication and people skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• BA/BS degree, 5 years technical project management experience or relevant experience

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
