Senior Technical Program Manager, Privacy
As a Privacy TPM at Dropbox, your primary role is leading projects within the Privacy Engineering team, focusing on safeguarding customer privacy and ensuring legal compliance. We are seeking a talented Technical Program Manager to join the Security PMO, contributing to critical programs related to Privacy Engineering. The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and adaptable to new challenges, showcasing exceptional skills in prioritization, innovative thinking, and collaboration on cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities- Lead and manage projects supporting Privacy Engineering's strategy and operations, including developing project briefs with stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Privacy Engineering leader to drive innovation, define OKRs, portfolios/roadmaps, and long-term strategies, and communicate these effectively to the team
- Engage with key stakeholders across Dropbox to understand and deliver program requirements, identifying process gaps for improvement
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, evaluate, and prioritize program dependencies, manage project schedules, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Present program/project status and updates to senior management, ensuring on-time delivery and implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of related work experience
- Strong project planning skills and a proven track record of successfully launching software projects
- Project or program management experience with cross-functional teams, demonstrating collaborative, team-oriented, and consensus-building abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to navigate competing business and technical priorities, translating business needs into technical requirements, and vice versa
- Deep understanding of organizational tech stacks to identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Experience working on strategic programs and fostering a remote-friendly culture
- Privacy experience, including an understanding of privacy laws and related technology
- Curiosity or experience with AI
- Passion for data protection and privacy.
