The Office of the CSO facilitates the efficient management and growth of the Security portfolio of objectives and initiatives.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, Security, you will work with the Security teams to help clarify project outcomes, plan milestones, and keep deliverables on track using project management and agile best practices. You will manage the end-to-end design, delivery, and communication of project execution. You will report to a PMO Leader and interact closely with other Security team leaders, other Technical Project Managers and individual contributors across the organization.

Create and guide processes across our Security teams. You'll cultivate and expand our relationships with other organizations and vendors. You'll be front and center of organizing controls, governance and standards across our teams to achieve successful outcomes.

The impact you will have:

  • You will influence team members to best clarify business needs and measurable project outcomes
  • You will plan and drive the tactical execution of project deliverables with change management considered at all phases
  • You will build a pipeline of strategic projects
  • You will determine and track project success metrics
  • You will communicate project progress and delivery to team members and leadership
  • You will identify areas of process improvement
  • You will assist in the planning processes across the Security teams
  • You will manage operational rhythm of the business: build meeting agendas, capture important insights and action items, and follow-up accordingly.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems and a minimum of 5 years of technical program/project/relationship management experience
  • Experience leading security initiatives in highly technical environments
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to complete projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
  • Experience defining projects, identifying risks, managing cost, coordinating scope, identifying dependencies, scheduling and deploying new products and features
  • Experience creating and cascading processes through an organization
  • Change management, enablement, or communications experience
  • Ability to build relationships with and manage diverse stakeholders remotely
  • Experience working in a high velocity, dynamic environment
  • PMI PMP Certification and/or knowledge of PMI PMP methodology
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodologies

U.S. Citizenship Requirement:In order to comply with U.S. Government information security and federal contractor regulations, including Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements for Impact Level 6 Cloud Service Provider personnel, and facilitate compliance with other regulations such as FedRAMP High baseline, and requirements of certain federal contracts, this role is open to United States citizens on United States Soil only.

 

Pay Range Transparency

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
