Who We Are

Wayfair is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive strategic planning and execution of high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives within the Supplier Advertising domain. You will shape how suppliers engage with Wayfair’s ad products by integrating supply‑side tech systems, evolving scalable programmatic platforms, and optimizing campaign‑lifecycle experiences for our selling partners.

What You’ll Do

Program Ownership & Strategy

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of large, complex programs supporting supplier‑facing advertising capabilities—campaign setup, performance optimization, billing, and reporting.
  • Define program vision, success criteria, and technical strategy aligned with Supplier Tech and Ad Tech leadership.
  • Establish scalable frameworks for planning, dependency management, execution governance, and risk mitigation.

Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the connector between engineering, product, data science, partner operations, and supplier‑success teams.
  • Manage technical and organizational dependencies across multiple teams spanning advertising platform APIs, catalog enrichment, merchant analytics, and more.
  • Facilitate alignment and concise communication with stakeholders at all levels—from ICs to VP+ executives.

Technical Fluency & Execution

  • Contribute to solution discovery, architecture discussions, and data‑modeling decisions; uphold quality and performance standards.
  • Lead technical deep‑dives and solution reviews; help navigate trade‑offs and make build‑versus‑buy decisions.
  • Deliver execution plans with clear milestones, KPIs, risk logs, and measurable impact tied to supplier engagement and ad revenue.

We’re A Match Because You Have

  • 6–10 years of experience in technical program management or engineering/product roles.
  • Proven track record managing cross‑team programs in large‑scale, distributed systems—ideally in advertising, marketplace, or martech domains.
  • Technical fluency in Java, GraphQL, Kafka, cloud architecture (AWS/GCP), and microservices ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with ad‑serving pipelines, auction dynamics, or DSP/SSP concepts is a strong plus.
  • Data fluency in SQL or analytics tools to drive measurement and insights.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and cross‑functional influence skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
