Role Description

We are looking for a world class technical recruiter in Mexico to join our Engineering, Product and Design Recruiting Team. Dropbox Recruiters are in charge of finding great candidates and helping them envision life at Dropbox. Our Recruiters create an exceptional candidate experience throughout every stage of the interview process. We work closely with teams to make sure all of the "behind the scenes" work that needs to happen to go from an opening to a hire actually happens. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product and Design teams to deeply understand hiring needs
  • Develop unique full cycle hiring strategies and interview criteria for each role
  • Source qualified candidates, review CVs/resumes, and prescreen candidates while moving interview process forward in a timely manner
  • Organize and facilitate interview debriefs
  • Drive offer approval, extension and negotiation
  • Proactively identify closing strategies for offers and provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible
  • Manage candidates in process and provide them with an exceptional recruitment experience
  • Partner with People Team functions, such as Onboarding to create a smooth transition from accepting an offer to becoming a Dropboxer
Requirements
  • Proven experience recruiting for technical roles in Mexico, ideally within engineering
  • Proven success in building and maintaining robust high-quality candidate pipelines
  • Familiarity with Mexican employment laws and regulations
  • Applies disciplined project-management practices —using systems thinking to map dependencies, build structured plans, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional projects from concept to on-time, in-scope, on-budget delivery.
  • Proficiency in leveraging design thinking methodologies to deeply understand employee needs, rapidly prototype experience solutions, and implement data-driven iteration cycles that measurably enhance engagement and retention
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools in the flow of work. Candidates with a pre-existing comfort level and familiarity using AI to enhance productivity are strongly preferred
  • Strong tool curiosity and adaptability, with a proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies in a fast-evolving recruiting tech stack
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior in-house recruiting experience (not exclusively agency-based)
  • Experience supporting remote or distributed teams in fast-paced, collaborative environments
  • Strong data-driven mindset with a metrics-oriented approach to recruiting
  • Experience scaling teams or businesses, with a demonstrated openness to experimentation and iteration
