Senior UI Engineer

As a Senior User Interface Engineer at Zuora, you will play a key role in creating beautiful UI components with the highest levels of detail in aesthetic and interaction design. This is a hybrid position, so you'll work both remotely and in the office.
Key duties and deliverables
- Take ownership of our technical architecture for our internal component library
- Develop reusable and visually appealing HTML Web Components.
- Implement detailed interaction designs with minimum compromise of the Designer's vision.
- Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure our team takes full advantage of what's possible with modern web technologies
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Work with Zuora's app development teams to help make our design system easier to implement and more developer-friendly.
Skills and capabilities
- At least 2 years of work experience in a SaaS company
- Proven experience in developing interactive UI components and web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Familiarity with build systems (e.g., Webpack, Gulp) and automated testing of front-end code.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
- Experience with Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with designers and developers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
