Joining Collibra’s User Experience Research team
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated User Experience Researcher to join our team. 
  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in Psychology, HCI, or a related field, coupled with 5 to 7 years of experience working as a user researcher. 
  • You have a proven track record of contributing to B2B SaaS projects within Agile development environments. You are a skilled qualitative user researcher driving generative research efforts and usability testing.
User Researchers at Collibra are responsible for
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, methodologies, and timelines for user research projects.
  • Conducting meticulous analysis of research data, identifying patterns and trends to translate findings into actionable recommendations. This analysis results in comprehensive reports and presentations that convey complex research insights and methods in a manner easily understood by technical and non-technical team members. 
  • Demonstrating leadership by coordinating team efforts, ensuring research goals are met, and projects are executed effectively and on time.
You have
  • A proven history of helping stakeholders and senior leadership make actionable, data-driven decisions based on your research findings.
  • A deep understanding of design best practices and can help guide designers to decisions grounded in those principles in addition to user feedback
  • Experience in conducting various types of interviews such as ethnographic interviews, contextual inquiries, and in-depth interviews and capabilities facilitating group discussions and workshops to generate ideas and insights collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Extensive experience with all aspects of usability research, from study design and planning through recruiting and moderation to analysis, and reporting of findings
  • Ability to design and conduct unmoderated usability testing using a testing tool (e.g., Usertesting, Userlytics, Playbook UX, etc)
  • Ability to work lean research into agile product deadlines and roadmaps
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required

Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will learn the product landscape, key product personas and internal stakeholders
  • Within your third month, you will own and drive the research activities for specific products or project streams 
  • Within your sixth month, you will propose a consistent strategy for evaluating product designs and you will be thinking through how to measure and track product health over time and iteration
Compensation for This Role

The standard base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location
