Role: Senior UX Architect / Designer 

Location: Hybrid / onsite in client's HQ based in central London x2 days per week

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our drinks client, the Senior UX Designer will have a passion for creating meaningful, human-centred digital experiences and a strong background in UX, either agency or client-side. We need someone with a strong luxury / perhaps fashion-focused portfolio anda deep, data driven understanding of audience needs, behaviours and goals who can turn strategic insight into practical service design and UX recommendations. You’ll be working in collaboration with a designer tobring luxury to life across our client’s website. 

At IIG, we build agency teams to work in-house in partnership with brands. This role will be sitting within the digital and social team we’ve created, working with a range of global-level clients and local markets around the world. We work within a hybrid set-up, which includes being present at the OLIVER office in Rosebery Avenue two days a week with occasional travel to the Global HQ in Amsterdam. 

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • You are an advocate for promoting positive sustainable behaviours and able to put a sustainability lens on the strategic and creative process.
  • You will be open and willing to attend Change the Brief training and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Working with designers to scamp and create quick prototypes which bring the experience to life  
  • Producing appropriate deliverables to bring ideas to life and define the experience for client and internal teams in a simple, easy to understand way. This could include user journeys, site maps, user-flows, wireframes and prototypes 
  • Acting as the ‘experience guardian’, making sure every customer interaction is useful, usable, desirable. 
  • Confidently running workshops / collaboration sessions and present ideas to a varied audience of stakeholders from senior marketing execs to technical architects and developers (remotely and face-to-face). 
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative user research, alongside 3rd party partners where relevant 
  • Developing strategies and working effectively with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure that the digital experience meets the needs of the audience as well as meeting the business objectives. 
  • Guiding non-specialist stakeholders through the process, keeping them up to date and on board with what we want to achieve. This will involve great story telling through PowerPoint. 
  • Keeping up to date with competitors and industry best practice. 
  • Collaborating with a cross-agency team including strategy, design, analytics, technology to bring the best customer experience to life for the client 
  • Proactively spotting opportunities to influence customer behaviour on the website and making recommendations for changing the user experience accordingly 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • You’ll be a voice of authority on UX best practice, with up to date knowledge on tools and methodologies. 
  • You'll be comfortable using the latest tools and applications e.g. Figma, Miro, Sketch, InVision, etc 
  • You’ll be solution focused, getting to answers quickly and collaboratively and juggling your time effectively. 
  • You’ll be happy embracing the detail without losing sight of the big picture. 
  • You’ll be a proactive champion of user centred design. 
  • You’ll be a great communicator and storyteller – both verbally and in written presentations. 
  • You’ll be strongly client centric, building trusted relationships. You’ll be motivated by creating great experiences. 
  • You have premium / luxury brand experience.
