As a Senior UX Content Designer (UX) at Mozilla, you’ll work with researchers, designers, product managers, and engineers to define, design, and iterate on the content strategy within Mozilla’s security and privacy products we build. You will advocate and craft the content for products, services, and systems that put the needs, desires, and aspirations of people at the center. You’ll work closely with other content strategists to deliver consistent, easy to understand experiences. 

What you’ll do:
  • Collaborate with marketing, research, design, and product teams to understand requirements, identify users' content needs, and align on business goals.
  • Advocate for content discovery and planning, ensuring the right content activities are prioritized and executed on cross-functional teams.
  • Test and refine content based on analytics, user feedback, and other performance data.
  • Advocate for people-centric best practices and products.
  • Align with designers and marketing to build connected content experiences, including messaging strategy and voice and tone, across the customer journey.
What you’ll bring:
  • You have 5+ years experience as a UX content strategist, designer, or writer 
  • You have a portfolio that showcases your UX writing, problem solving, and impact
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into content that is clear, concise, and human
  • Ability to develop copy in a unified voice that adheres to established style guidelines
  • An understanding of user experience and content optimization principles across channels (web, email, and social media) and devices
  • Demonstrate an ability to think strategically and work with various forms of input from critique, user testing and market feedback
  • Experience in a product-focused environment
  • Self-starter who thrives on responsibility and accountability
  • Flexible, efficient, and comfortable with ambiguity and able to move quickly from planning to execution
  • Passionate about ethical and people-centered design
Extras (not required yet great plus)
  • Experience creating content with respect to privacy and security products 
  • Experience creating content for account management or payment processes
  • Experience participating in user testing
  • Proficiency or fluency in languages other than English (especially Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese or Arabic)
  • Deep understanding of developing products that prioritize accessibility
