We’re a leading online reviews platform, free and open to all. Our mission is to be a universal symbol of trust. We are well on our way — but there’s still an exciting journey ahead of us. Do you want to join us at the heart of trust?

We’re looking for a Senior UX researcher to join our Business Product.

You will be a key member of the UX Research team and be responsible for foundational and directional research across the product, working with different cross-functional feature teams. Our Business app helps business customers manage their profile description, gain insights into their consumer reviews, and showcase their reputation. We help businesses to build trust, grow and improve.

As a team, you will frame opportunities, conceptualise, explore and iterate your way to delivering value for the millions of people and businesses using Trustpilot. You will solve challenging and stimulating research problems, as well as identify opportunities to improve our user experience across products. You will be part of the Design & Research team for Business, reporting to the Design Director, and together be responsible for delivering impactful research. You will also work with the wider user research, product design, and design system teams to create a stronger link between understanding user problems and business opportunities in product. This is a great opportunity for an experienced researcher to grow, learn and have an impact at a technology company.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Use qualitative & quantitative research techniques to understand our users, represent the customer by being their voice within the company, and work with teams across the business to share insights and enable us to create engaging user experiences
  • You’ll work on the important here-and-now projects being delivered, as well as some exciting future-thinking projects
  • Develop new approaches for solving a problem, using known methods and anticipating problems
  • Gather and communicate insights that move your research decisions
  • Be instrumental in raising the bar for research and user experience in product development through design feedback sessions and close collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers across the department
  • Collaborate with product designers on processes to gather, distil, communicate, and create actionable knowledge to influence product decisions
  • Help other researchers grow by serving as an example, guiding their work directly on projects that you are involved in, and coaching as they grow and improve
  • Create well-crafted research proposals that communicate rationale, align stakeholders and teams, and help to clarify scope
  • Lead other researchers and designers to build out a coherent experience across user journeys

Who you are:

  • Circa 5 years of UX research experience working on broad and complicated research projects
  • Wide-ranging experience to create novel yet implementable research plans to solve complex issues
  • High-quality work that sets the standard for UX research
  • Experience working with product roadmaps to plan advanced research and identify gaps in user knowledge as it relates to new features or improvements, and have worked closely with related disciplines on research strategies for complicated studies
  • A focus on educating colleagues on UX research practices and methodologies
  • Strong case studies displaying your craft and experience with research projects
  • A growth mindset and a willingness to own problems, a great interest in building products, and a desire to make things better
  • An appreciation of a truly agile and team-oriented approach to product development

To apply for this position, please submit:

  • A case study of a complex, real-world UX research project you have worked on
  • An optional cover letter telling us why you think you'd be great for this job

What’s in it for you:

  • A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you
  • Competitive compensation package + bonus
  • 28 days holiday plus two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community
