Job description.

As a Senior Visual Designer at Huge, you are a talented and driven professional that will create gorgeous, ground-breaking visual work that solves problems and pushes the boundaries of design. We expect you to strongly contribute to creating stunning visuals for digital products, while working on your project teams and inspiring design teams to keep pushing themselves forward. Collaboration across disciplines is a daily practice, and you will maintain high standards for original concepts and detailed execution.

What we like to see.

  • 4+ years of visual design experience, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Advance Figma knowledge.
  • Responsive design experience: how typography, imagery, and components scale across breakpoints
  • Design systems thinking: understanding how to set up design foundations and making trade-offs between consistency and coherence on different components and proper documentation
  • Experience communicating with developers and understanding how front-end constraints may impact visual & interaction design decisions
  • Understand the use of photography in brand expressions and appropriately select imagery.
  • Previous experience presenting work to internal teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in prototyping tools and software.
  • Experience designing new, innovative layouts and designs that scale across platforms.
  • User-centric design approach, with a focus on accessibility and contextual storytelling.
  • Passion for all aspects of design, including conceptual thinking, typography, motion, copy, and imagery.
  • A passion for ideas, and storytelling, namely, making work that strives to deliver an impact and foster meaningful connections with the user through your creations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

What you’ll be doing.

  • Collaborate closely with our VDL, UX, and Development teams. Provide pixel-perfect high-fidelity designs
  • Working with the Design system. We’ve established our DS, but we need to keep evolving this library, we need to use it to build innovative experience proposals - all within the boundaries of the system framework. Also when required set documentation for different components within the DS.
  • Creating proposals. Mockups with light interaction prototypes in Figma. Also provide the dev team with handoffs and export assets.
  • Concepting. Often you'll be asked to create different concepts for what a module or a page might look like. It requires strong visual design skills and fluency in best design practices for mobile and web UIs.
