We are now looking for a Web applications developer (react) to join our team and work on an auction and trading platform for a large institutional client!

YOU ARE: 

• A person with a strong desire to raise the bar for your team technically
• Tenacious, curious, and collaborative in all aspects of your work
• A quick learner with excellent communication skills

YOU HAVE: 

• Extensive knowledge of building application front ends, particularly with React
• Typescript production experience; A preference for Typescript over Javascript
• A strong understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript, the DOM, and how it all comes together in the browser.
• Practical knowledge of modern web tooling - build tools, package managers, styling engines, web framework landscape, etc.
• Proficiency with client-side debugging tools (Chrome Developer Tools, React Devtools) as a means of improving performance
• Experience working on front office systems

YOU WILL: 

• Build greenfield financial applications alongside your Adaptive colleagues
• Use the latest technology to create elegant and robust solutions

• Use your knowledge to build great-looking, event-driven, and highly interactive interfaces

We create benefits with YOU in mind. 

• Medical from the 1st of month following your start date (i.e. if you join on the 24th of July, it starts on the 1st of August). We make a flat contribution to your healthcare costs: 
• Employee only - $480
• Employee and partner - $965
• Employee and children - $875

• Dental and vision from the 1st of the month following your start date - we will contribute 80% of your costs and 70% of your family based on the Aetna Vision and Aetna Vision + costs/Aetna Dental PPO 2, Aetna Dental PPO3, and MetLife Dental PPO1.

THE PROCESS

Long interview processes are stressful and boring, and that is not us 😉

We want to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

So here you will have three stage interviews:

1- A chat with one of our great recruiters.2- A zoom chat with one of our React developer colleagues where they will ask you detailed questions about your knowledge and your experience3- A Face to Face interview (either in our office or via Zoom). ​​During this interview, we will dig even deeper, and you will have a pair programming task to do. 

But don’t worry; everything will be explained to you step by step by your recruiter. 

Here is a little tip for you during those stages:

Base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package. Pay is based on candidate skills and experience.New York pay range$150,000—$170,000 USD
