The Role:We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Web Experience manager to join our Digital Marketing team and take the lead in designing an exceptional user experience and visually appealing user interface for our Celonis’ network of websites. 

The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating user-centric designs, proficient in both UX and UI design principles, and have a strong experience managing and delivering web related projects.

The work you’ll do:

As a Senior Web Experience manager, you will oversee the definition and future implementation of  the user experience stream for celonis’ network of websites (celonis.com). This encompasses activities such as, working on the concept/UX&UI strategy for our future website, ensuring the right Information architecture for our network of website(s), supporting the creation of a cohesive design system with a set of templates, components and atoms that can be handed over to our development team. 

You will collaborate with internal UX/design experts to fulfill the following initiatives

  • Website experience strategy: Lead the strategy, conceptualization, and execution of our commercial website in collaboration with our internal UX and design experts
  • User Research: Conduct user research to understand our target audience, their needs, and pain points to inform design decisions.
  • Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and make data-driven design improvements.
  • Responsive Design: Ensure the website design is responsive and accessible on various devices and screen sizes.
  • Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, user flows and other design documentation to visualize and iterate on design concepts, as well as providing clear documentation to the development team for execution.
  • UI Design: Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces, including layout, color schemes, typography, and iconography.
  • Design Systems & design documentation: Build, maintain and enhance design systems and style guides to ensure design consistency and efficiency. Also, ensuring proper handover to the development team for implementation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and content creators, to align design with business objectives and user needs. This role will collaborate closely with our Brand and design team to co-lead the UX function for the website.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders and present design solutions that align with the company's brand and goals.

The qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX Design, HCI, or a related field. (Or equivalent work experience)
  • +5 years proven experience as a UX/UI Designer/Product designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects.
  • Experience managing agency resources to support execution.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, web design, headless architectures and frameworks such as React are a plus.
  • Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Spring Boot
  • Proficiency in English is a must.
