Overview:

As a Senior Zuora Developer you will help integrate Zuora with diverse systems such as Salesforce, SAP, RevPro, and Payment Gateways. You are a proactive self-starter capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects independently, and achieving strategic initiatives with minimal guidance. Beyond integration, your responsibilities will extend to hands-on Zuora workflow development, automation of new workflows, and enhancement of existing ones; reporting into our Associate Director of Business Systems. Working hours for this position would be 2:30pm - 11:30PM IST.

 

You will:

  • Design and architect billing solutions using Zuora's platform features (THIS IS REQUIRED).
  • Configure and customize billing rules, workflows, and pricing models to align with our requirements.
  • Translate business cases into solutions, using Zuora's configuration and technical solutions based on APIs.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define, document, and clarify processes and requirements.
  • Partner with the finance and revenue team to gather and analyze our requirements related to billing and revenue management.
  • Automate billing processes using Zuora's workflow and automation capabilities.
  • Build data sync/workflow between Zuora billing and revenue.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Zuora billing platform performance, applying updates and patches.

 

You have:

  • 5+ years of Subscription Management Billing experience, especially with Zuora (THIS IS REQUIRED).
  • Proficient in Python and XML/JSON (THIS IS REQUIRED).
  • Experience with SAP or other general ledger systems
  • Salesforce experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or IT or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in Zuora development, architecture, design, and hands-on implementation.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex business requirements and propose effective solutions.
  • Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest Zuora platform features and industry best practices.
  • Ability to lead in ambiguous situations and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Stay informed about the latest releases, features, and enhancements in the Zuora platform and industry best practices.
