Sumo Logic is seeking a product management leader that will help lead, develop and manage the compliance solution business case, product roadmap and vision.  Sumo Logic’s solutions are FedRAMP® Moderate Authorized.  You will be responsible for maintaining that level of authorization and developing a business case and achieving buy-in for increased investment to build on our momentum and opportunity.  

In addition to FedRAMP, you will be the product manager for our current compliance solutions based on our award-winning log analytics platform. You will be working very closely with engineering, broader product management team, compliance, legal, and security teams to develop a strong understanding of customer use cases and regulatory requirements. You will apply that understanding to further investment in, and develop business cases for expansion into additional compliance solution markets.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Defining product strategy and roadmap to deliver a product that our customers value
• Identifying opportunities based on innovations, drive product development with multiple global teams
• Develop detailed product requirements, features, integrations and use cases. Own prioritization, functional requirements
• Developing a deep understanding of the compliance markets and industry trends and applying that understanding to a differentiated product offering
• Working across teams in a global organization and being enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a great collaborator
• Creating business cases to justify business investment to expand our addressable markets

Who You Are:

• 7+ years experience in Product Management and, preferably, exposure to a Compliance, Privacy, or Security related areaDeep understanding about compliance topics like FedRAMP (Moderate | High), FedRAMP+ IL4/5/6, GDPR, PC DSSI, SOC2, etc.
• Experience working directly with technical engineering teams and in a matrixed Product Management team environment
• Experience with security products and expansion into regulated markets
• An ability to navigate complex decision-making and effectively communicate across teams will be critical to success.
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively with both, technical and business leaders
• Understanding and ability to define technical specifications, write high-level documents, and interpret security and compliance requirements into concrete product requirements
• Excellent communication and proven track record with deep customer engagements, hands-on execution and timely delivery
• BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.  An MBA is a plus.

Sumo Logic Privacy Policy

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $171,000 - $232,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
