Role: SEO Manager

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client in the software industry, You will work within the team to optimise and create powerful and impactful digital content, and drive organic performance across a suite of EMEA regional sites.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Ensure all content on site is properly optimised to enable easy indexation by  search engines, and performs highly for target keywords and topics. 
  • Recommend technical improvements: e.g. Optimise images to reduce page load speeds, best practice internal linking, and various factors that impact Core Web Vitals performance generally. 
  • Reporting and analysis of site ranking for top 100 consumer search terms. 
  • Implement content changes on websites in line with effective and best practice SEO. 
  • Monitor and analyse organic performance across the clients target regions, and deliver strategic responses to ensure successful outcomes 
  • Conducting on-site and off-site analysis of the clients’ SEO competitors. 
  • Assisting the content team in the creation of high quality, informative SEO content. 
  • Analyse organic performance data and identify opportunities for content performance/keyword position improvements, and new ranking opportunities.. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Experience using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Webmaster. 
  • Ability to monitor and report on organic positioning effectively. 
  • Ability to identify and build quality backlinks. 
  • Experience with SEM tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar. 
  • High-quality reporting, copywriting and analytic skills. 
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work. 
  • Experience of working with a variety of CMS and updating copy, meta and other minor optimisations.  
  • Familiar with other aspects of digital marketing.  
  • Managing and organising work for team members, preparing training and briefs and coordinating multiple projects.
