Shopify Developer (f/m/d)
Your mission
- You develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and templates to enhance the user interface and overall site performance
- You integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other tools to enhance the functionality and efficiency of our e-commerce platform
- You identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize website speed, and improve overall website performance.
- You conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure the site operates efficiently
- You create and maintain detailed documentation for our online shops, including code documentation, user guides, and best practices
- As part of our e-commerce team, you work closely with e-commerce managers and designers to implement new features, promotions, and marketing campaigns
- You continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or have equivalent work experience)
- You have 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role
- You have proven experience with Shopify development, including theme customization and app development
- You have a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid
- You are proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
- Experience with backend development using languages such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Python is a plus
- You have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills
- You enjoy working independently as well as in a team
- You have a very good command of English; knowledge of German, Italian, Spanish and/or French is a plus
