Site Merchandising Manager, Equine & Exotics
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Site Merchandising Manager to join our Equine & Exotics team, based in Boston, MA or Seattle, WA. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of building the shopping experience for our quickly growing Equine & Exotics categories. In this role you will be responsible for understanding customer shopping behavior, developing merchandising strategies for our core shopping aisles, and building visibility for Equine & Exotics in top-of-funnel pages. You will iteratively test and learn to continuously optimize the site experience for our customer. You like to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and will collaborate to translate business priorities into onsite merchandising or product strategies. You are a critical thinker, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity.
What You’ll Do:
- Own onsite merchandising for areas of Chewy you manage
- Create a “best-in-class” site experience for customers
- Drive segment targeting and scalable content placement
- Use web analytics and data to guide ongoing site experience improvements and content optimizations that drive awareness and engagement with Chewy products and service programs
- Drive continuous learning and onsite experience excellence through iterative content experimentation
What You’ll Need:
- College degree in business-related field
- 4+ years’ work experience, with 2+ years in E-commerce and content management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Demonstrate a data-driven approach to problem solving and prioritization
- Equine experience preferred
Bonus:
- Experience in E-commerce back-end operations and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with SQL
Compensation & Benefits:
Our pay range for a Site Merchandising Manager position is $95,500.00 - $152,500.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
