The Team & Role

Join our dynamic Zuora’s Operations and Provisioning team, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless delivery and management of our services, monitoring performance and uptime, managing internal and external shared services, infrastructure services and more. 

 

Collaborate closely with talented individuals who are passionate about maintaining high standards of reliability, scalability, performance, and automation. You'll partner closely with our Engineering, Product Management, Customer Support, Deal Desk, Global Services, and Sales teams on a daily basis to keep our customers front and center. As a key member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement in our provisioning and operations processes. In this role you’ll get to

  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration management, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
  • Monitor system health and performance proactively, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact end-users.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting complex technical problems, and implementing root-cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and adherence to infrastructure best practices.
  • Continuously improve platform reliability and scalability by identifying and implementing performance optimizations.
  • Work with engineering teams on maintaining and improving runbooks, including documenting cases where runbooks are missing and needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies in the SRE field.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of SaaS Architecture and its Best Practices.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a critical thinking mindset and a passion for making an impact.
  • Proficiency in Linux Operating system and troubleshooting at OS level.
  • Experience with one or more Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Grafana, Pingdom, Splunk, Datadog).
  • Knowledge and experience in Python programming and shell scripting.
  • Ability to automate day-to-day operations and provide self-service to stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of the Salesforce Opportunities model and the ability to create SFDC reports.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a SaaS environment.
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest technologies.

 

Nice to Have:

  • RHCSA Certification, AWS Certification
  • Good knowledge of Jenkins
  • Advanced certifications in SRE or related fields
