Are you an Active Military member with a drive for data-driven insights and a passion for sales operations? We have an exciting opportunity for you as a Skillbridge Value Engineer! This role is designed for individuals eligible to participate in a SkillBridge internship from now until May 2024, for a 3-6 month duration.
Overview:You'll intern as an Associate Value Engineer. Value Engineers provide the business justification for strategic deals by aligning Elastic's stack strengths against a customer's strategic business objectives! You’ll be responsible for researching and preparing C-level/Boardroom presentations. You’ll create value propositions that translate technical capabilities into quantifiable business benefits to enable customers to make better purchasing decisions.

- Researching industry trends of our strategic customers; primarily Financial Services, Retail, and Public Sector
- Researching customer strategic business imperatives
- Cross-collaborating with internal resources to collect internal use cases of strategic customers and quantifying the economic benefits that our customers receive.
- Developing strategic account plans, contextualized from external and internal data sources
- Building executive presentations to communicate business value themes and benefits.
- Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, customer engineering, and GTM planners
- Learn Elastic’s solutions and how to communicate them to a non-technical audience
- Holistic Sales Understanding: Learn the A-Z of sales operations, from lead generation to deal closure.
- CRM Mastery: Get hands-on experience with Salesforce and understand the critical role it plays in sales, as well as becoming well versed in SFDC reporting
- Networking: Regular interactions with senior sales professionals, giving you the chance to learn from the best.
- Skill Development: Improve analytical, communication, and teamwork skills in a real-world setting.
- Career Guidance: Daily check-ins with mentors and leaders to guide your career trajectory in sales operations and beyond.
- Develop business cases, aligning Elastic’s technical capabilities with customers realized or potential business benefits
- Spreadsheet savviness: Enable yourself for future success by learning the ins and outs of spreadsheets
- Background in special operations, intelligence, or high risk operations - synthesizing complex combat and intelligence situations into digestible, easy-to-understand concepts
- Executive briefing skills: time in embassy or as an instructor, teaching students beyond the entry-level proficiency.
- Spreadsheet and PowerPoint (google slides) experience
