As a Social Media Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence and engaging with the audience of a key client across various social media platforms. You will work closely with our creative team to develop and execute innovative content strategies that drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and ultimately, contribute to the growth of our client who is a leader in the fitness industry.

 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Group Strategy Director and the Creative team to create comprehensive social media content strategies aligned with the company's goals and target audience.
  • Content Creation: Develop creative and engaging content ideas for social media platforms, and brief creative team for execution.
  • Content Calendar Management: Plan and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across all social media channels. Post all social media content to appropriate channels.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of social media content using relevant metrics and tools. Use insights to optimize future content strategies and campaigns.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and content creation. Implement new strategies to keep our brand ahead of the curve.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within AKQA such as Creative, Client Services, and Analytics to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing efforts.

QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience in social media marketing or content creation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative thinking and a passion for storytelling
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms, especially Sprout
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

The contract rate for this role is $2200-$2400 per week, depending on experience.
