The role

Our team’s purpose is to grow GoCardless’ revenue by building brilliant products and features that allow merchants to use GoCardless through our Indirect channels. To do this we are building new products upon GoCardless’ platform that allow our customers to access GoCardless via third-parties or by embedding bank payments into their payment platforms, all while giving our customers the best experience possible.

We are looking for engineers who:

  • Enjoy moving quickly with a strong bias for action
  • Are empathetic towards our customer's problems and driven to create pragmatic solutions that solve them 
  • Are excited to work closely with external product teams and are able to understanding their needs and factor these into what we do
  • Have experience with building integrations and a passion for creating world-class experiences for our customers
  • Want to have a direct impact on a company's revenue and growth
  • Are comfortable with doing what needs to be done to solve a problem which may include working across the whole tech stack and product suite
  • Are able to prioritise and are adaptable to change
  • Are comfortable with putting their hand up when they are stuck or unsure what to do next

The team pride themselves on being a product-minded, focused unit with collaboration and open communication at the heart of it.
