Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced developer to join our team as a Front End Software Development Engineer II (TypeScript/Vue.js) as part of our aiStudio Team.You will be part of the Global Product and Technology unit and will help to build state-of-the-art services that are used by our largest customers. AiStudio is the Data Science and Machine Learning (DSML) teams generative AI experimentation platform - it consists of a backend and frontend that allows users to create bots which leverage a wide variety of external and in-house LLMs in order to test and learn in this evolving GenAI space.

You will: 

  • Use expert JavaScript and front-end knowledge to build features from scratch, and maintain the existing components.
  • Work with generative AI and large language model functionality to develop cutting edge features for our aiStudio platform
  • Produce and inspire high-quality, well-tested code that is easy to read and maintain.
  • Work closely with UX teams and Product Management to define and build the optimal user experience for our customers.
  • Write unit, automated, and integration tests and improve build size/times.
  • Produce and inspire high-quality, well-tested code that is easy to read and maintain.
  • Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our customers on a massive scale.
  • Continuous focus on production readiness including but not limited to Root Cause Analysis, Testing, Monitoring, Reliability, Documentation and etc.
  • Contribute to the team’s on-call rotation to improve incident coverage.

 

 

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript at scale.
  • 3+ years of experience in development of enterprise-level single-page applications using Vue.js, Angular, or React (Vue 3+ experience preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in developing Web applications, including Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on with CI/CD, monitoring, observability, and production readiness.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about the end customer experience.
  • Experience with globally distributed teams in multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, or mathematics, or engineering or equivalent degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with a modern JavaScript framework, preferably Vue.js.
  • Experience with GCP (Google Cloud) is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Web standards and protocols.
