We are seeking a talented and inquisitive Full-stack Engineer to join our Internal Tools Team. In this role, you will focus on front end development and work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create robust frameworks and features for our internal tools. You will play a crucial role in enabling new technologies and experiences, empowering both developers and internal users. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to new initiatives from inception to implementation. As part of our PinFlex work model, you will have the flexibility to work in a way that suits your needs.

What you'll do:

• Develop front-end features for internal tools, supporting the future of inspiration on Pinterest
• Lead and contribute to the entire product development process, from ideation to release, including prototyping, A/B testing, and scalable solution design
• Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end functionality
• Provide input for new product ideas and features from the perspective of an internal user
• Utilize automated testing to ensure technical quality and take ownership of the components and features you build
• Grow as an engineer by working on high-impact projects with a talented team

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of industry experience in full-stack development, with a focus on front-end technologies
• Proficiency in common frontend tech stacks, such as JavaScript and React
• Familiarity with backend technologies and best practices, such as API development, storage, caching, and data processing
• Ability to write reliable and maintainable code that can be used by other engineers
• Willingness to stay updated on new technologies and incorporate them effectively
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
