As a Software Engineer, you will join our Cloud Lifecycle team as a key contributor to the development and maintenance of our infrastructure-as-code platform. In this hands-on role, you’ll be able to see how your work powers the data engineering, analytics and the platforms team to do their daily jobs more effectively.

What You’ll Do:
  • Takes on problems, designs and implements appropriate and scalable solutions
  • Delivers solutions & Fixes issues  with limited supervision and is able to autonomously overcome roadblocks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and maintain our infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.
  • Participates in becoming a resident expert in Terraform and optimization of infrastructure-as-code
  • Demonstrates technical ownership and completes agile initiatives that are impactful to the team and the business 
  • Follow best practices in troubleshooting methodology to investigate complex problems
  • Work with minimal supervision and have a self-starter approach towards working on a variety of technologies
  • Work on enhancing the flexibility and scalability of our infrastructure to accommodate our growing user base and evolving technology landscape
  • Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure-related challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations and procedures
  • Monitors Production environment, provides support for incidents/alerts.
  • Participate in an on call rotation which is distributed across the team
What You Have:
  • 3+ years of SRE and/or SWE experience while thinking like a data engineer
  • Strong experience in working with Terraform, Puppet, Git 
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience with working with an enterprise cloud provider such as GCP or with Azure, AWS is a plus
  • Good programming skills: Ideally in Golang or Python
  • Experience working with both Linux and Windows
  • Strong Agile SDLC background
  • Experience with medium to large scale enterprise environments in geographically diverse locations
