We are looking for looking for Software Engineers passionate for building infrastructure. Online Systems is the backbone of Pinterest products and is serving large-scale user facing traffic. Within online systems are 5 sub teams Core Services, Storage & Caching, KV Systems, Realtime Analytics, and Mysql team. Their mission is to provide reliable, performant, efficient and maintainable online systems to enable fast product development at global scale.

What you’ll do:

• Build, own, and improve innovative infrastructure/ platform services
• Building and operating highly available, reliable, production grade systems at scale.
• Work on making our storage solution self-serve & scalable in an efficient manner
• Continually improve operability, scalability, efficiency, performance, and reliability of our storage solutions

What we're looking for:

• Deep expertise on distributed storage systems
• Ability to work cross functionally with multiple engineers from both client and infra teams
• Fluent in C/C++ or Java
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
