Jump Operations, LLC seeks Software Engineer II (Multiple Openings) at its facility located at 15 East 26th Street, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10010. Full cycle development including researching projects, writing, testing & debugging code, deployment of finished code into the production environment and ensuring that all code is checked into the source code control system. Direct support of end users, trouble-shooting problems and upgrading applications. Extensive interaction with a Sybase database. Demonstrates reliable and predictable attendance. Rapidly design, code, test, debug and maintain distributed trading platforms & support services to enable trading on more than 80 financial exchanges, holding theoretical & practical training workshops for employees to introduce all software components of the trading platform. Work with multi-tiered applications and infrastructure software systems relating to executing trades. This will specifically entail developing high performance exchange connectivity, application design, requirements analysis, and specification generation relating to all aspects the trading system, and performance optimization across the trading system.

Requirements: This position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Data Science or related quantitative field.

Additionally, the applicant must have gained experience or coursework in the following:

  • Machine Learning
  • Data Structures
  • Calculus; and
  • Probability.
