About the job

This position is needed to help Twilio architect, implement and deliver new capabilities in the Twilio Voice platform. You will join a cross functional team and collaborate with Product Manager, Architects, and a talented group of engineers to build new features which add value to Twilio’s first product Programmable Voice. You will own, operate, and maintain the teams’ services in a highly scalable distributed production environment. 

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design, develop, test and deploy features for voice products in distributed cloud environments.
  • Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Work independently to troubleshoot/determine resolution for issues in your team's domain - Be the owner.
  • Be responsible for documentation of projects you work on - Write it down.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Required: Important

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related industry experience.
  • 1 year of hands-on experience on distributed, highly-available, high-scale, secure, mission critical native cloud enterprise SaaS applications based on JVM based technologies.
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals not limited to data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
  • Strong understanding in at least one language, web stack and framework
  • Experience with AWS, GCP or other public cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience with container technologies - Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Experience with REST API implementation.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
  • Able to work well in a team setting and both highly motivated and motivating. 

Desired:

  • Experience with Agile & Scrum development.
  • Experience with UI technologies like JavaScript, React. 

 

Location

This role will be based Remotely in India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, New Delhi)

Travel
