Liftoff's continued success depends on strong customer teams that are laser focused on meeting the needs of our customers. The Partner Engineering team plays a key role in that by designing and implementing end-to-end technical solutions to meet those needs.

LOCATION:

The Partner Engineering team is fully remote, but we also offer hybrid and onsite options out of the following US office locations:

• Redwood City, Los Angeles, New York City, Seattle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain a deep technical understanding of Liftoff's products.
• Build and architect custom solutions for our largest customers and partners.
• Drive innovation by refining products and tools based directly on taking customer and partner feedback.
• Proactively track and resolve reported issues, then automate solutions so those issues don't recur.
• Work closely with internal and external partners across the ecosystem to provide a consistent set of experiences to our mutual customers.
• Contribute to an “engineering excellence” culture through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review.

DESIRED QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in coding in one scripting or compiled language: Python, JavaScript, Java, Perl, etc.
• Proficiency in SQL and big data analysis.
• Strong empathy for the customer and their needs.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written customer-facing communication skills.
• Self-motivated and a great ability to hustle.
• A healthy sense of fun!

Compensation: 

Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on candidate location and experience. The following are our base salary ranges for this role: 

SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $140,000 - 180,000Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $128,800 - 165,600All other cities and towns in our approved states: $120,400 - 154,800

This role eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, and WA. We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and NYC.
