About the job

This position is needed to create high-quality, modern solutions to complex engineering problems and help define the future of Customer Data Platforms.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for designing and building UI systems for Customer Data Platform.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and build the next generation of Customer Experience to store, process billions of profiles, and power various use cases across Twilio Data and Applications 
  • Build highly adaptable and effective UI platform tools across a variety of products.
  • Work with a team of engineers through difficult architectural trade-offs.
  • Collaborate on detailed design documents and action plans for features slated for development.
  • Mentor engineers earlier in their careers on technical matters great and small.
  • Support strategic technical initiatives that impact the entire engineering organization.
  • Rapidly acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, high-delivery environment.
  • Manage your work through the use of Github, Jira, and our build/deploy systems.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years in full-stack development with a strong emphasis on frontend technologies
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar frameworks), and CSS
  • Excellent collaborator. Ability to foster alignment cross-functionally and cross-organizationally
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of software development and best practices for RESTful service implementation
  • An interest in building full-stack applications with modern tools and languages
  • Familiarity with common architectural patterns, anti-patterns, and best practices, and knowing when to apply them appropriately

Desired:

  • Experience building backend services using nodejs and GraphQL. 
  • Experience with databases and building UI platform tools for the applications to build on top of
  • Experience with e2e testing, unit tests and integration testing for frontend and backend

Location

This role will be remote and based in India.

Travel
