Software Java Engineer, QE team
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLEAs a Software Engineer within our Digital Experience (DX) unit, you will be the architect of simplicity for global fleet management. Based in our thriving Prague R&D Center, you’ll build the cloud-native infrastructure and mission-critical services that allow our customers to navigate complex data landscapes effortlessly. You will collaborate across high-impact teams to turn sophisticated machine learning models and RESTful APIs into seamless, secure user experiences. Your mission is to evolve our SaaS platform into a self-healing, intelligent ecosystem that redefines the "as-a-service" economy.
WHAT YOU'LL DO-
Own Full-Lifecycle Engineering: Design, develop, and operate high-scale processing services, ensuring every line of code enhances the security, compliance, and interoperability of our global SaaS platform.
-
Innovate Developer Tooling: Create and maintain the internal tools used by DX development teams to accelerate delivery and improve the developer experience across the business unit.
-
Drive Quality Architecture: Lead the charge on end-to-end testing strategies—from unit to integration—ensuring that our "unstructured data" solutions remain resilient against evolving security threats like ransomware.
-
Modernize Platform Capabilities: Experiment with emerging technologies and cloud ecosystems to build cost-effective ways of representing customer information while maintaining 24/7 mission-critical availability.
-
Collaborate for Impact: Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into production-ready designs, sharing best practices in CI/CD and quality engineering to elevate the entire engineering organization.
-
Backend Mastery: Advanced proficiency in modern programming languages (such as Python, Java, or Golang) with a track record of applying complex data structures and algorithms to launch successful software products.
-
Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), container orchestration via Kubernetes, and the ability to navigate SQL databases and cloud networking infrastructure.
-
Quality-First Mindset: Practical experience implementing and verifying applications across multiple testing layers (unit, integration, and E2E) and a commitment to maintaining high-performance, secure codebases.
-
Collaborative Design Sensibility: A proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment, translating high-level designs into documented, maintainable code through peer reviews and cross-functional partnerships.
-
Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
