Software Product Management Intern (Summer/Fall Co-Op)

The product team at Formlabs helps drive hardware, materials, and software products to completion. From defining the requirements for new products, determining features and user experience, and following products through development all the way to shipping, the Product team is looking for someone with strong instincts for product development, who is ready to help us develop great software to support our hardware, resins, and digital experiences.
If you want to work through the process of bringing a software product from ideation and research to documentation and execution, we want you as our Software Product Management Intern.
Internship Term: Summer/Fall 2024 (July - December) Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)Location: Onsite in Somerville, MA (in-person)
The Job
- Perform market analysis
- Collect and analyze qualitative interviews and quantitative product usage data to understand how our customers use our software products
- Ideate and document possible solutions for workflow pain points
- Work with design and engineering to scope and schedule the project
You
- Amazing communication skills, verbal and written for conversing with customers
- Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally to complete projects
- Have an analytical or research background
- Extremely organized and able to clearly communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across many disciplines
- Comfortable presenting complex information in a succinct manner, both orally and in writing
Bonus:
- Interested in 3D printing
- Experience working on software products
- Customer interviewing experience
- Presentation skills
